Senior Pastor Application

 

 

Brightside Church, located in the heart of West Michigan in the lovely town of Caledonia, seeks new pastoral leadership to succeed the founding Lead Pastor. BC was established in April of 1997 and is a non-denominational inclusive community seeking to love God and follow Jesus Christ through prayer, worship, and service to each other and to our community.

As the ideal candidate for Senior Pastor, you will provide overall leadership for the church through preaching the Word of God and ensuring the spiritual care, spiritual growth and shepherding of the congregation so that the body is built up and equipped to do the work of Jesus Christ. Your passion for God should be manifested in an emphasis on prayer, worship, edification and outreach and shall promote that passion into the life of the congregation. 

Job Expectations: The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader and an engaging communicator who will, in partnership with the elder team, be responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the church. In addition to weekly preaching responsibilities, the Senior Pastor will be expected to develop and execute strategic plans for the ministries of the church, develop and mentor leaders within the church, and oversee church staff. A love for people is a must. Additional information will be provided to interested individuals.
